About Me
I was born in Colombia and have lived all over the U.S. prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest. After arriving to the U.S., I had the opportunity to study what I had always wished to study, which was art.
My work represents my love for nature, my background in traditional realism, and my current passion for visionary art. While I am a multi-media artist, my first love in art is oil painting. My style has continually evolved into visionary art, incorporating brighter colors with fantasy, while still holding onto traditional realism.
I spent a year living in the Amazon rainforest, which forever inspired my creativity with wildlife art. Later, in the U.S., I lived in the Catoctin Mountains outside of Camp David. I was asked to paint the Camp David Presidential Christmas card to represent the beauty of the surrounding area. It was my privilege to have the originals gifted to the President of the United States at that time.
Beauty and novelty continue to inspire me, as does my cultural upbringing. I have exhibited in art shows and galleries in different parts of the country and have been commissioned to paint Murals that reflect my love of realism, wildlife, culture, and fantasy.
I owned my own gallery studio in the Pacific Northwest for twenty years, where I exhibited my work and took commissions for different types of art.
